Blue Strawberry is committed to minimising its impact on the environment without compromising on the quality of its impressive offering. They adopt the REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE approach throughout every aspect of their business - from minimizing ‘food miles’ by buying ethical/seasonal produce locally as much as possible and operating a food waste Zero to Landfill approach, to using eco-friendly packaging wherever possible and recycling as many materials as possible from events. The whole team has a keen regard for the wellbeing of the planet.

 

In January 2020, Blue Strawberry pledged to plant a tree for every event confirmed across their business with The South Downs National Park Trust. Tree planting is widely thought to be the most efficient and cost-effective way of tackling the climate crisis as the trees absorb and store carbon dioxide emissions which are currently driving global heating. This initiative helps the team to offset their carbon footprint of both their events-based activities and their premises.
